Pangasinan Travel 2017 (Bolinao-Alaminos)

My team has decided to have a north branch outing since we had out last year's getaway in the southern part of Luzon, Mindoro (Puerto Galera).

With the help of my friend, a legit travel organizer, Mr. Thomas Payne, We had a hassle-free and wonderful experience with a very affordable and reasonable package. We were able to visit and enjoy all the places mentioned above for only P1,999,00. For bookings to Pangasinan and other destinations, please check his Facebook account by clicking his name. :-)

Our destination is in Pangasinan. situated on the western area of Luzon along the Ligayen Gulf and South China Sea. We will be exploring the wonders of its town, Bolinao and Alaminos. We departed on a Saturday dawn and arrived in Alaminos in the morning where we had our breakfast.

After our breakfast, we started our tour at Cape Bolinao Light House, one of the tourist destinations in Pangasinan. The said light house is situated in the town of Bolinao and has been standing there for over 100 years, since the Spanish regime. This light is one of the 5 light houses that guides both local and international shipping vessels that pass through the West Philippines Sea. Read more click HERE

Our next destination is Bolinao Falls. A falls that I know so far exists on the plateau area of the Luzon. Most of the falls I have visited are on the mountainous areas.

After a refreshing dip at the falls, we didn't stop pampering ourselves in water so we headed to one of the well-known destinations of Bolinao, the Enchanted Cave. the cave has an underground natural spring pool. The water is pure and rejuvenates your body and soul. The cave is said to be like a giant coral reef emerged from the sea as well as the presence of corals and fossil clams in the area.

To help the maintenance of the Enchanted Cave, there an entrance fee that needs to be collected whether you swim or not. No wonder why the cave is enchanting not only because of is natural composition but it preservation and maintenance of the tourism and local government through the help of the locals ho take care of the cave. Before we take our lunch, we didn't miss to visit the Bolinao Church. A church is somehow a mandatory destination to all travelers whenever they visit a certain place. Not only for the those Catholic/Christians, but the churches also give a certain information about the heritage and history of the place we visit.
St, James the Great Parish Church is situated in Germinal, Bolinao, Pangasinan. One of the  old churches built in the Spanish era sometime in 1609. The church is built with black coral stones and served as fortress of the locals against the pirates. To know more, click HERE

The highlight of out outing is to take our VITAMIN SEA! We headed to Patar Beach and took our lunch first and enjoy heat of summer and the beauty of the sea. Patar Beach isalso called as the Boracay of the North due to its blue water, powdery white sand and majestic sunset. It is located iun the western part of Luzon wherein you can view via satellite map the fine, white coastline from the West Philippine Sea. Patar Beach is known to its rock formations and coral fossils but there's just a few aquamarine creatures to be sited probably because there isn't much corals in the sea area.
We stayed there until sunset and headed to Alaminos where we checked-in

The next day, We went to Hundred Islands and did the island hopping. and had our lunch in Quezon Island. After we had our lunch, we headed back to hotel to check out and travelled back to Manila.

With my Solemare team, This is not just an ordinary beach outing but truly it binds us more and showed us who we really are outside the corporate world. It energized our bodies, rejuvenated our souls because of the enchanting and breath taking views of Pangasinan.
